Ray Olive – Associate Director for Learning and Improvement at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust
Ray Olive is a seasoned senior executive with a number of years leadership experience spanning the British Army and the NHS. Currently working as the Associate Director for Learning and Improvement at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, Ray leads initiatives in leadership development, digital transformation and continuous improvement.
Prior to his current role, Ray held senior positions at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, including Assistant Director of People and OD. He has also been instrumental in national education initiatives, serving as the inaugural Chair of the National T Level Ambassador Network, promoting technical education pathways across the UK.

James Akrigg – Former Microsoft Head of Technology and now leading UK AI authority
James Akrigg is a leading voice in AI, cloud and digital transformation, with over 30 years of experience driving technology innovation. Formerly Head of Technology at Microsoft UK, James spent nearly two decades enabling businesses to unlock the power of emerging tech – from cloud platforms to modern applications and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence.
James works across the tech landscape as a speaker, start-up mentor and fractional CTO, helping organisations apply AI in ways that are impactful, ethical and future-focused.
