Public Sector and Government
Galway City Council, the local authority responsible for services such as housing, planning, environment, transport and culture in one of Ireland’s most vibrant west-coast cities, is transforming its recruitment with our Jobtrain ATS – going live later this year!
As part of Ireland’s Government workforce plan, the Council is committed to making significant improvements to how it recruits, develops and retains talent. Previously, recruitment was managed without an applicant tracking system (ATS), relying heavily on paper processes and manual administration. This naturally creates challenges such as human error, limitations to running recruitment campaigns and no access to real-time recruitment data or talent pools and networks.
By adopting the Jobtrain applicant tracking system, Galway City Council amongst many other things will:
This transformation will enable Galway City Council to deliver a more efficient, transparent and candidate-friendly hiring experience – ensuring they can attract and retain the skilled workforce needed to serve their growing community.
Key benefits Galway City Council will see when they implement our ATS
They chose an ATS to drive recruitment efficiencies, reduce manual processes and meet the requirements of Ireland’s new Government workforce plan.
With no ATS in place, recruitment was paper-based, prone to human error, lacked automated communications and provided no real-time insights or talent pools.
The Jobtrain ATS will automate recruitment tasks, deliver accurate data and provide tools to ensure no candidate is missed, while enabling the Council to build long-term talent pipelines.
