Douglas City Council, the largest local authority on the Isle of Man and the local authority for the island’s capital, will launch our applicant tracking system later in 2025. Their goals?  To automate recruitment, improve the candidate experience and reduce manual admin. With a focus on building a strong multi‑generational workforce, their goals include broadening appeal to early‑career talent while valuing existing experience, replacing paper‑based and email‑driven processes and moving from repetitive HR admin to proactive candidate engagement.

Our ATS will standardise yet tailor application forms by role, support hiring managers to shortlist and invite to interview then hand over seamlessly to HR for pre‑employment checks and offers. Douglas gained city status in 2022 and provides services such as housing, waste and parks to its community, making modernised recruitment an important enabler for service delivery.
