Education
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public research university and was founded as a new university in 1992 from Trent Polytechnic (later Nottingham Polytechnic). It’s the 13th largest university in the UK (out of 167) with over 29,000 students split across three campuses: City Campus, Clifton Campus and Brackenhurst.
NTU operates a devolved recruitment model with departmental HR Business Partners (HRBPs) supporting Line Managers to raise their own requisitions, post jobs adverts and conduct their own screening. Offer and contract generation is also devolved to HRBPs. Recruitment strategy and ATS system governance/management sit centrally with a Resourcing Manager and HR Systems Manager respectively.
