Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust delivers healthcare services to communities in West Yorkshire, serving over 500,000 people. Its services are provided across three main hospital sites: Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, Pontefract Hospital and Dewsbury and District Hospital, as well as in patients’ homes and community settings.
Employing around 9,000 staff, the Trust became a teaching organisation in May 2023, reinforcing its commitment to education, training and research while supporting the development of healthcare professionals across its facilities.
