Example of two stage application process within Jobtrain's applicant tracking system
An example of how clients can use the two stage application process in our online recruitment system.

A much quicker and easier way for candidates to apply

Jobtrain has seen massive increase in the focus on candidate experience in recent months with the main question from our clients being:

How do I make it quicker and easier for my candidates to apply?

In response to this question, Jobtrain have now introduced a new two stage application process for candidates.
This new functionality will allow our clients to gather information from candidates in two stages rather than completing one lengthy application form.

What could the first and second stages of the application process involve?

The first stage will gather the key information required to make an informed decision as to whether or not to progress the candidate to interview. This might involve basic personal details, a CV and Equal Opportunities information (for application monitoring purposes). The second stage perhaps might include referee details or an assessment form for those candidates who have been successful at interview.

This will allow clients to gather the information they need at the first stage whilst greatly improving the time to apply and the overall experience for candidates.

This change is one of the first of several updates relating to the candidate experience so watch out for further updates coming soon!
